About us

Otto Galey established Galey's Marine in 1938. His son Don Galey, the current President of Galey's Marine, bought the business in 1955. For 61 years we remained in the same location, serving the people of Bakersfield with outstanding customer service. In January
of 1999 we moved into our new location. After two years of careful planning, a five-acre state of the art facility was designed that is the home of Galey's Marine Supply today. As most anyone will tell you "to go with the times you must grow with the times". Looking towards the future Galey's Marine strives to keep our technology, knowledge and personnel the best in the business, while keeping one foot in the past for good old-fashioned customer service with that personal "home town" touch.
